Hybrid Racer is a specialized training system specifically developed for HYROX athletes who demand structured, progressive, and results-oriented programming.  

Built around a comprehensive annual macrocycle, our advanced semi-personalized approach ensures your training uniquely aligns with your current fitness levels, optimizes your available training time, and strategically prepares you to peak for your HYROX competition.

Our premier subscription for age group open and professional HYROX athletes. 

Unlike generic one-size-fits-all  HYROX programs focusing only on the event, Hybrid Racer features an athlete-centered approach tailored to your prior performances, fitness goals, and evolving capabilities. 

Using workout results, precise testing, and ongoing expert evaluation, Hybrid Racer ensures each athlete will train smarter, continuously improve, and deliver measurable race-day performance.

Once you register for Hybrid Racer, you will start with our 4-week Foundation Block

This introductory phase evaluates your HYROX goals, including prior race performances (if applicable), and includes thorough assessments of your endurance, strength, and skill to establish your baseline fitness levels and identify key areas for focus.

During this phase, Coach Hinshaw will personally review your submitted performance data, offering in-depth insights, recommendations, and tailored adjustments to enhance your training effectiveness. 

Semi-Personalized Track Assignment

After completing the Foundation phase, you will receive your customized training track assignment based on your assessed performance:

    1. The Hybrid Racer Track: A well-rounded and balanced program. It is ideal for athletes looking to develop complete 360º fitness, allowing them to confidently attack both running and obstacle challenges in their upcoming HYROX.
    2. Endurance Focused Track:   Specifically designed for athletes with strong natural speed and power who aim to improve aerobic capacity, muscular stamina, and recovery, while preserving their strength and power.
    3. Strength Focused Track: Perfect for endurance specialists and experienced runners who want to enhance their strength, power, and fatigue tolerance while maintaining their endurance and stamina.
 

Continuous Adaptive Programming and Expert Guidance

Hybrid Racer continuously adapts to your evolving fitness profile. Regular evaluations and detailed performance metrics allow your training to be matched to your current capabilities. 

As you progress and provide your coaches the requested workout results , you’ll receive ongoing personalized insights and strategic recommendations, ensuring that each training session perfectly matches your changing performance levels and HYROX goals.

Every athlete deserves a well-structured plan to hit the starting line at their best. The Hybrid Racer 12-Week Race Prep is your roadmap to peak performance. Whether you’re preparing for your first HYROX or aiming to smash a personal best, this program will deliver you to race day in peak physical condition.

Over the last 5 weeks before your HYROX event, each Hybrid Racer athlete will access our two-phase Peak & Sharpen Program.

During the initial three-week peaking phase, you’ll slightly increase race-specific load with paced circuits, sled pushes, ski erg efforts, and run-obstacle combos to reinforce neuromuscular readiness.

In the final 10 or 14 days (depending on your programming track), you’ll cut overall volume by 40–60% while preserving and boosting key race-pace intervals and strategy drills. Recovery-focused mobility and activation sessions clear residual fatigue so you step onto the start line fully dialed, laser-focused, and ready to grip and rip.

After crossing the HYROX finish line, your training priority must shift to recovery. 

Hybrid Racer offers every athlete a 2-week active recovery reintegration program designed to reduce post-race fatigue and accelerate your return to training.

Our purposeful, active recovery-focused workouts, you’ll accelerate your return to baseline and rebuild the solid foundation needed to resume training.
